Class 1:
Warm-Up
Class instructor: Kristina Hardner
Kristina Hardner trained at Joanne O'Kelly School of Dance, completing all her Cecchetti exams to Advance 1. She received a perfect score (50) in VCE VET dance and was chosen to perform both her jazz and contemporary solos at the 2009 VCE Top Class concert, receiving a Premier's Award in the same year.
Kristina went on to complete a Certificate 4 in Dance from Spectrum Dance Full Time Performing Arts and since graduating has performed at numerous corporate functions and events across Melbourne. She has been a member of both the Melbourne Storm and Melbourne Stars cheerleading squads and has appeared on the AFL and NRL footy shows, Big Brother promotions and the TV Week Logie Awards. Kristina also performed with David Hasselhoff on his Australian tour in 2013.
Kristina has completed the Level 2 APMA Pilates Instructor course as well as Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness (Master Trainer). She passes down a great passion for dance to her students and constantly strives to help them become the best dancers they can be through hard work and persistence.

Class 2:
Commercial Jazz
Class Instructor: Yvette Lee
Yvette Lee has been working for over a decade s a choreographer and dancer in all area of the entertainment industry. Her portfolio is extensive and includes TV shows like Dancing With The Stars, The X Factor, Asia’s Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance, Australian Idol, Neighbours, The ARIA AWARDS, - she has even worked with Chris Lilly on Ja’mie Private School Girl and Summer Heights High. Yvette has worked with artists like international pop sensation Guy Sebastian, Ricki Lee and Gosh Groban. The list expands to theatre stages too, working on Rock Of Ages and Stage Arts In The Heights. Yvette was recently invited to be a judge in the US for the Dance Industry’s night of nights.

Class 3:
Jazz Technique Combination
Class instructor: Troy Phillips
He made his professional debut in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and has since performed in a number of major musicals: My Fair Lady, Sisterella, Chicago, Singin’ in the Rain, Get Happy The Musical, on which he was dance captain and We Will Rock You as part of the original Australian cast.
He performed in the concert version of Sunset Boulevard for Luna Park’s re-opening celebrations, in the national tour of Hugh Jackman - The Boy From Oz the Japan tour of We Will Rock You and most recently the Melbourne season of Guys and Dolls. Troy is a highly sought-after dancer and has worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Jessica Mauboy, Christine Anu, Rhonda Burchmore, Vanessa Amarosi, Marcia Hines, Jackson Mendoza, S2S, Guy Sebastian, Delta Goodrem and Jade McCrae.
He performed at the Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony in Manchester and at the opening of Fox Studios and has worked with many leading Australian choreographers at various conventions and award ceremonies.
Troy’s film credits include Moulin Rouge, Scooby Doo, Bootmen and Happy Feet. Television credits include appearances on the Logies, In Melbourne Tonight, The Midday Show, Ocean Girl and the Australian Idol Unforgettable Special.

Class 4:
Nutrition
Class Instructor: Sarah Leung
Since founding Healthy Energy, Sarah developed extensive skills in communication and dietetics. She has been living her passion to improve people’s health. Sarah’s philosophy is all about ‘if you want to change someone’s behaviour, you must first change their beliefs’. Through coaching, Sarah’s consultations focuses on finding the underlying cause that stops people from getting what they want in the domain of health. Then she provides achievable recommendations to help her clients to reach their goals. Sarah has helped thousands of clients to improve their health by reducing weight, controlling stable blood sugar level, blood cholesterol level and reducing gastrointestinal symptoms.
Sarah is also a speaker and corporate trainer. She works with corporate clients such as Telstra Super, National Australia Bank, Yarra Valley Water and many more. She regularly delivers healthy cooking demonstrations and nutrition seminars to make a company a healthier workplace.
On the other spectrum, Sarah lectures at the National Theatre Ballet School, working closely with full time dancers and teaching them about nutrition for dancing. She is also regularly invited by the Australian School of Football (soccer) as a guest speaker.

Class 5:
HipHop
Class Instructor: Elly Creevey
Elly Creevey completed her full time training at Spectrum Dance and since then has already developed an impressive CV.
Elly has performed on the Footy Show Grand Final Players Review for Channel 9 as well as most recently on the Channel 9 TV Week Logie Awards. Elly has also performed at various corporate events both in Melbourne and Australia wide including Winter Sound System, Miley Montana Tribute Show, Shared Tables, Event Affairs, Victory Gala Ball and Shing Kong Melbourne Summit. Elly has also not only performed but also been Assistant Choreographer to Trish Squire-Rogers for the Melbourne Storm Cheerleaders, Melbourne Star Cheerleaders and Collingwood Dance Crew. Elly recently travelled to India to spread the love of Dance to the community.

Class 6:
Audition Tips

Following from her successful career as a Dancer/ Performer and now as the Director of Spectrum Dance and Talent Agency, Trish will take you through her top Audition tips.

Class 7:
Lyrical
Class instructor: Freya List
Freya has extensively trained in many genres of dance and after completing her 2 years of full time training at SPECTRUM Dance, Freya was accepted into an internship at Broadway Dance Center, New York, with a contemporary concentration. Freya trained and performed all over New York and LA, including Rockettes Christmas Special, Shellac Times Square Performance, New York Fashion Week, Tamara Malek Music video & Good Morning America before returning to Melbourne to choreograph and direct her first show ‘half full’, and perform in Kim Adam’s ‘4 Letters’, both produced by Collaboration the Project.
Freya has had many stage and corporate performing opportunities and in 2013 spent time dancing in Italy, Poland and London.
Freya is an up and coming choreographer who teaches all around Melbourne, as well as touring workshops around Australia and Asia. Youth Company since 2010. Freya’s choreography will appear in the Australian Dance Feature Film ‘UP HERE’ .

Classes 8 & 9:
Costume Colour Choice 101 & Performance Preparation
Class Instructor: Kylie Drew
Following from her successful career as a Dance studio owner/kinder teacher and choreographer and now as the Director Follow Your Dreams National Dance competition.
In lesson 8, Kylie will take you through her tips for costume colour selection.
In lesson 9, Kylie will take you through her tips for performance preparation.

Class 10:
Cool Down
Class instructor: Kristina Hardner
A cool down is an essential part of your workout. A cool down includes stretches or gentle variations of the movements you did during your workout. The purpose of cooling down after exercise is to allow your heart rate and breathing to return to normal, decrease joint or muscle soreness.
